BIOGRAPHY
It all started back in June 2000, let me take you back, way back (insert Wayne's World magic words to go back in time :- de de de den de de de den wave hands in shaking motion while doing a little dance, hat's and Wayne's World t-shirt optional) just after finishing the leaving cert, Des, stuck in a shitty little hole with a sign post outside it that says Askeaton bought a guitar, several months of hard work passed and soon Des was banging out timeless classics such as twinkle twinkle little star, a year passed in college, June 2001 came around and James was given a left handed Fender Squire Strat-copy for his birthday, let it be written in history a duo was formed, the start of the end times is near not long after one of James's friends a young metal head Rory Power wanted in on the action, he sold his Playstation 2, some say madness others say what's a Playstation 2 (but then again there from the rough part of Askeaton and their inbred) and bought a Fender Squire Jazz Bass this was indeed for the greater good.
James and Rory practiced together yet Des didn't play with them at this point. Christmas 2001 rolled around and a new guitarist James O' Brien met with Des and James to practice. Yet another few months passed, T'was the end of the summer Des was gone from home living in Raheen, at home Andrew (brother of Des and James) borrowed 3 weeks wages to buy a drum kit needless to say Andrew bought the drum kit and practiced hard, The following week Andrew was fired from his job mainly because the boss is religious, Andrew still to this day remains self-un-employed and owes over 650euro for the drum kit.
One day in Sept. Des Quinn (guitars) Rory Power (bass) Andrew Quinn (drums) James O' Brien (guitars) and James Quinn (guitars) met for a practice a couple of weeks later we fired James O' Brien and the band was complete we have been given a good response in Askeaton among the rockers and metallers but lies were spread about the band tales of devil worship and vandalism, meetings were held with the shades but nothing came out of it because it was all lies from local religious groups, we still get dirty looks from the scum of Askeaton.
Still without a singer the band played on.....
Des bought a 130 Watt amp from some guy that played backing guitars with the Revs, Andrew invested in a double-bass pedal but can't use it at the moment because he's just after an operation on his appendix.
March 2003 and the band is complete a singer is found Kevin Downes and with a drummer Glen Jones ( formly of Unkown Truth, who were signed to Sony records) to replace Andrew while he recovers from the operation.
......and still to this day they say if you listen closely in the town of Askeaton you can hear the screams and cries of human sacrifices but of course it all dirty lies and hopefully they'll burn in hell for their lies, it's really just our amps cranked up to 11!
